Kathy Carroll, RN.C., FNP., CDE. Received both her undergraduate education in Nursing and her Masters degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Practice interests prompted her to leave the hospital acute care setting and focus on primary health care in the outpatient clinic setting. A concern for the diabetes epidemic and how the disease impacted the lives of patients, led to additional study in diabetes management. Kathy is certified by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. This certification is renewed regularly and indicates current knowledge and expertise in the treatment of diabetes.
Kathy has been married to her husband Dan, for 29 years. They have a grown son Nathan and daughter-in-law, Ashley, both recent Marshall University graduates.
